George is an ENT Surgeon with interests in all aspects of Paediatric ENT conditions, including obstructive sleep disorders, otitis media / ear infections, airway, voice and swallow disorders, and head and neck masses.
George is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, FRACS. He is also a Fellow in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, FRCS (ORL-HNS), from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. George is a member of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), Australian New Zealand Society of Paediatric Otolaryngology (ANZSPO) and the Academy of Surgical Educators.
Following his Otolaryngology / ENT training, George furthered his interest in Paediatric ENT by doing a Paediatric Fellowship at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital in Dublin before a further Paediatric Fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) for Children in Perth, WA.
George worked as a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist/ Head and Neck Surgeon at PMH. He now operates at St John of God Subiaco and Murdoch Hospitals. He is currently the Head of Paediatrics Department at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. George is also involved in outreach programs related to ENT and Aboriginal Ear Health treating patients in remote communities of WA.
As an Associate Professor with UWA, he regularly teaches medical students and is involved with their final examinations.
