About St John of God Richmond Hospital
We provide inpatient treatment and support for a diverse range of mental health and psychiatric disorders, including:
- anxiety and depression
- drug and alcohol addiction
- post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
We also provide electro convulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments.
Our committed, multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, specialised mental health nurses, and other allied health professionals work with you to help you return to a rewarding, fulfilling life.
Private psychiatrists practicing onsite in our Specialist Medical Centre who can provide assessment and refer you for admission to our inpatient programs, or to our Counselling and Therapy Centre where we offer a wide range of outpatient and day programs to help support patients with continuity of care, and preparation for return to their families and communities.
