Dr. Hari Ramakonar, MBBS (Hons), FRACS (Neurosurgery), is a distinguished Neurosurgeon proudly hailing from Western Australia. He currently holds both private and public hospital appointments where he dedicates his expertise to both adult and paediatric neurosurgery.
   
A graduate with Honours from UWA medicine, Dr. Ramakonar honed his neurosurgical skills at prominent centres in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Wollongong. He further augmented his expertise through prestigious fellowships, focusing on:

   - Spinal Surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada
   - Epilepsy Neurosurgery (Adult and Paediatric) at the University of Western Ontario, Canada
   - Paediatric Neurosurgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia

His professional focus encompasses spinal conditions, brain and spinal tumours, epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation, hydrocephalus, neurotrauma, and paediatric neurosurgery.
   
Dr. Ramakonar has made significant contributions to the field, showcasing his commitment to advancing neurosurgical knowledge. His impressive track record includes numerous publications in world-class academic medical journals and presentations at both local and international conferences. Recognised with various awards, scholarships, and grants, he actively engages in global health initiatives, including his involvement with the Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery (FIENS).

Beyond his clinical pursuits, he assumes the role of Director at Neurospheric, a WA-based neurosurgical technology start-up.
