Dr William Morgan initially trained in Perth, Western Australia, and undertook his fellowship at the Centre for Ophthalmology and Visual Science based at Lions Eye Institute.
Dr Morgan is a consultant ophthalmologist at Royal Perth Hospital, consultant ophthalmologist at Princess Margaret Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital), Professor at UWA and also a consultant ophthalmologist at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
Dr Morgan has completed a doctorate in philosophy studying the response of the optic nerve to pressure, particularly in relation to glaucoma. He sees patients with glaucoma and other ocular conditions such as cataracts. Dr Morgan maintains an active research interest in glaucoma as well as in the epidemiology of blinding eye disease.
