Dr Emily Gianatti is a caring and dedicated Endocrinologist with expertise in all aspects of management of endocrine disease and diabetes.

Emily enjoys working with people to identify and achieve their health goals. She is experienced in working as part of a team that includes the patient, general practitioner and other health care professionals.

Emily completed her medical degree in 2000 at the University of Western Australia after having moved from rural Western Australia. She completed advanced training in Endocrinology in Melbourne in 2008. Emily was awarded a PhD from the University of Melbourne for her work examining the effects of testosterone treatment on the health of men with type 2 diabetes and in 2013 was awarded the prestigious Bryan Hudson Clinical Endocrinology Award by the Endocrine Society of Australia.

Since returning to Perth in 2015, she has been employed as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital and is the Endocrine Lead of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Service. Emily also provides care to homeless people with diabetes as part of the team from 360 Health and Street Doctors.
