Where we are
Adam was born, raised and educated to the completion of secondary school in the town of Warrnambool in south-west Victoria. He completed his degree in medicine at Monash University in Melbourne, graduating with honours and supported by a rural Australia medical undergraduate scholarship.
From this background, Adam has since pursued a clinical career with a strong regional focus. He completed internship and then physician training through the Geelong hospital, laboratory haematology training with St John of God Pathology in Geelong and Ballarat and clinical haematology training with the Austin hospital in Melbourne.
He commenced as a specialist laboratory and clinical haematology consultant with St John of God Pathology and the Andrew Love Cancer Centre in Geelong in 2013 and is now an Associate of Ballarat Cancer Care.
Adam has pursued research interests and published in the areas of supportive care for autologous stem cell transplantation and the prognostic impact of cytogenetic abnormalities in plasma cell myeloma.
Away from work, Adam is a supporter of the Essendon football club (when they are winning) and a mad keen fisherman.
