Dr Chin is a consultant adult nephrologist who works at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and visits the St John of God Dialysis Centre in Busselton on a monthly basis.

He has been practicing as a consultant adult nephrologist since 2006 and his interests in nephrology include:

• hypertension
• chronic kidney disease
• glomerulonephritis/vasculitis and renal stone disease.

Dr Chin is a graduate of the University of Western Australia. He was granted FRACP in 2005 with a qualification in Nephrology. Dr Chin spent 18 months overseas training in England from 2004 to 2006, and recently undertook a four week sabbatical in the National Amyloid Centre in London. 

Dr Chin previously held consultant position in Fremantle Hospital, and is currently at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He is actively involved in medical education in undergraduates and postgraduates, and works closely with both NDU and UWA.
