Dr Alan Thomas is a general surgeon at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.

His main interests are endoscopic and laparoscopic treatment of morbid obesity, metabolic syndrome, hiatus hernias and reflux disease. Having attained a Diploma in Medical Law, Alan also has an active interest in the medico-legal side of surgical practice.
