St John of God Foundation is mourning the loss of friend, long-time supporter and advocate, Eleanor Bendat who passed away on Thursday 11 October 2018.

Eleanor and her husband Jack and family were long supporters of the St John of God Foundation.

St John of God Foundation Chief Executive Officer Bianca Pietralla said our thoughts and deepest condolences were with Jack and the Bendat family during this very difficult time.

“The Bendat Family Foundation has significantly contributed to a number of life-saving initiatives for the WA community including the Bendat Comprehensive Cancer Centre (located at St John of God Subiaco Hospital), Bendat Horizon Houses and the Bendat Respiratory Research Development Fund,” she said.

“Through her and Jack’s commitment to health care, Eleanor leaves behind a lasting legacy that will continue to touch many lives of cancer patients and at-risk youth in our state. She will be greatly missed.”
