This week is National NAIDOC Week (7 – 14 July 2024).
NAIDOC Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse cultures of First Nations peoples, increase awareness and appreciation of history and foster mutual respect and understanding between all Australians.
The theme this year is ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, Loud and Proud’ – a time to celebrate the diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
There’s so much to celebrate, so reach out, learn and take part in community NAIDOC Week events. St John of God Health Care recognises the importance in participating in local community events and encourages you to take part. See the national NAIDOC Week calendar for events near you.
