Executive Director Community Services Kevin Taylor said the new role was created following changes to the structure of St John of God Health Care’s outreach and disability services.

“Our Community Services directorate was established in February and includes intellectual disability services delivered by St John of God Accord in Victoria and a range of community services provided by St John of God Social Outreach across three states, plus a capacity building program at the national hospital in Dili, Timor- Leste,” Kevin said.

Andrew is a UK trained medical practitioner with extensive medical, strategy and business experience. Prior to entering medical administration, he was Country Medical Director for GlaxoSmithKline Australia.

He joined St John of God Health Care in 2012 as Director Strategic Development Perth Northern Hospitals, where he developed strategic and operational plans for St John of God Subiaco and
Mount Lawley Hospitals, as well as St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s clinical services plan.

In the new role Andrew will drive clinical standards, practice and governance across Accord and Social Outreach. His immediate task is to implement a clinical governance management framework to support outreach services.
