Information regarding Optus outage
Please note the following with regard to the national Optus telecommunications outage reported on Wednesday (8 November).

Optus network is experiencing a nationwide outage, impacting both telephone and NBN networks. Anyone with an Optus mobile or fixed line cannot make or receive phone calls currently.
The outage is not having a direct impact on St John of God Health Care’s patient or client care, and patients and visitors can continue to contact the hospital directly by a non-Optus phone.
Some of our hospitals are experiencing delays in contacting staff and doctors whose personal phone services are with Optus, and there is also an impact to EFTPOS terminals and health fund checking at some locations.
