New CEO appointed for St John of God Social Outreach

Sue has a long history with St John of God Health Care having worked at St John of God Murdoch Hospital from 2007 to 2008 and then as the Director of Nursing for St John God Mount Lawley Hospital from  2014 to 2016.

Sue has been in her current role as Group Manager Workforce Strategy Implementation and Systems Design for the past three years, and has delivered strategic workforce projects across our hospitals and services.

Sue has a broad range of executive experience in the public and not-for-profit Catholic sector, both in metropolitan and regional locations across several states.

She has held senior leadership roles in a variety of clinical specialties including mental health.

Sue is a registered nurse, has qualifications in business administration, Catholic leadership and culture and holds an Adjunct Associate Professor appointment with the University of Notre Dame.

Sue said she was excited to lead all of St John of God Health Care’s outreach services which extend across Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria as well as Timor-Leste.

“St John of God Social Outreach is a significant expression of St John of God Health Care’s Mission. I’m excited to support the growth and capability of all our services to meet the needs of people within our communities who are experiencing disadvantage,” said Sue.

Sue will start in her new role on 17 June 2019.
