Introducing our new Group Director Finance Steve Goldsworthy
Steve Goldsworthy was appointed as the new St John of God Health Care Group Director Finance at the end of 2017.

Our new Group Director Finance Steve Goldsworthy is a familiar face to those at St John of God Health Care.
Steve joined the Group in 2016 as the Group General Manager Finance role and acted as the Group Director Finance from July 2017 before being appointed to the role, after Bryan Pyne, the previous Group Director Finance, was promoted to the Executive Director of Eastern Hospital in September 2017.
St John of God Health Care Group Chief Executive Officer Dr Michael Stanford said Steve would bring valuable experience to the role and a new perspective.
“Steve’s previous role with the Group and with large multi-national organisations in Australia and aboard, have given him a rich and varied technical and strategic base to enable him to grow this role and become a very strong and valued member of the Group Management Committee, helping to steer the future direction of the Group.”

Steve said he was excited to take on the role and bring a fresh perspective on how the Group can continue to grow in a changing private hospital landscape.
“I am looking very much forward to strengthening the Mission of the organisation through supporting our strategy with financial stewardship and prioritising investments,” he said.
“Combined with an ongoing focus for efficiency and quality in the functions I manage, I am excited to work on and support the digital transformation so we can continue to strengthen our position as a leader in healthcare.”
