New Clinical Nurse Specialist
St John of God Health Care’s Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Network (DAWN) service is pleased to be providing a Clinical Nurse Specialist to support the four bed low medical withdrawal unit which is situated at Serenity Lodge, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Rockingham.

Our Clinical Nurse Specialist will be part of a shared care team and work alongside local GPs to help people to withdraw from methamphetamines or other drugs.
This new innovative service is in partnership with Cyrenian House with funding from the Mental Health Commission.
It’s been set up to help those who don’t have the support they need at home. From this inpatient service they can then transition to another support service that will assist them with their longer term recovery and reduce the burden on hospital based detox services.
DAWN typically provides a home based service that assists people to reduce or cease their substance use.
