Djordje joined Busselton Dental Clinic in 2010. Djordje (pronounced George) emigrated from former Yugoslavia with his family in 1992. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 1999.
He enlisted in the Australian Army Dental Corps as a dental officer and spent the next ten years practicing general dentistry in a number of locations around Australia and abroad. Djordje always had a keen interest in the oral surgery aspect of dentistry, and when opportunities for further study presented themselves, he firmly grasped them. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Studies (Oral Surgery) from UWA in 2004 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Sedation and Pain Control) from the University of Sydney in 2007.
Since 2004, most of Djordje's clinical work involved providing oral surgery treatment to service personnel. After discharging from the Army in 2009, Djordje moved from Perth to Busselton, where he joined Busselton Dental Clinic with referral based practice restricted to minor oral surgery, which he still maintains. Apart from treating patients at the practice, Djordje also provides treatment under general anaesthetic at St John of God Bunbury Hospital, Busselton Hospital and Margaret River Hospital.
Djordje is married with one child and lives in Busselton. His interests outside work are golf, skiing and motorsport (go kart racing).
