Dr Karen Taylor is a radiation oncologist specialising in the management of breast cancer with radiotherapy. She treats patients at St John of God Berwick Hospital.

Dr Taylor initially trained as a physician and clinical oncologist in the UK, she came to Australia in 1997 and completed radiation oncology training in Melbourne in 1999. Dr Taylor worked at the William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre, Alfred Hospital for more than 20 years.

Dr Taylor has special interests in optimising dose and delivery of breast radiotherapy using deep inspiration breath hold, intensity modulated radiotherapy, surface guided and no tattoo techniques.

She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University.
