Dr Antonius Steven is a highly experienced consultant physician specialising in respiratory and sleep medicine. Since 2017, he has been dedicated to providing high quality respiratory and sleep services to patients in Western Australia's South West region.
Dr Steven understands that every patient and their support network face unique challenges. Recognising the added difficulties for those in regional areas, he is committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate and personalised care, with the goal of achieving the best possible outcomes for each individual.
Dr Steven's medical journey began at the University of Melbourne, followed by residency and registrar training at Royal Perth Hospital. He completed his advanced respiratory training at John Hunter Hospital in New South Wales and further specialty training in sleep medicine at WASDRI, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Additionally, he undertook a Postgraduate Research Fellowship in Thoracic Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Dr Steven's expertise encompasses all aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine including:

- complex airway disease
- interstitial lung disease
- thoracic malignancy
- pleural diseases
- sleep breathing disorders
- positive airway pressure therapy.
His special interests include general respiratory medicine, interstitial lung disease, airway disease, lung cancer and sleep breathing disorders.
Dr Steven consults at various locations throughout the South West region and has admitting rights at St John of God Bunbury Hospital.
As a family man, married with two young children, Dr Steven cherishes living in the South West region surrounded by its breathtaking natural landscapes and relaxed atmosphere.
