Dr Situ is a general surgeon with a strong interest and skill set in thoracic and upper gastrointestinal surgery. He currently works in private practice in Bendigo and operates at St John of God Bendigo Hospital.

He has completed fellowships at St Vincent's Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and as a general surgeon at Royal Darwin Hospital and Bendigo Health.

Dr Situ has a special interest in the following procedures:

• thoracic – VATS, lung and pleural surgery, bronchoscopy, EBUS
• esophagus and stomach surgery
• hiatus hernia and anti-reflux surgery
• endoscopy, gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• endocrine surgery - thyroid and parathyroid
• complex and recurrent abdominal hernias
• laparoscopic surgery including cholecystectomy, hernias and colorectal.
