Dr. Sethwala is a multimodality imaging cardiologist practicing in Geelong and Warrnambool. He graduated from Monash University with First Class Honours in 2012 and then spent his early years practicing internal medicine at the University Hospital Geelong, South West Health Care Warrnambool and Hamilton Base Hospital.

Dr. Sethwala then completed his core cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and continued on specializing in multimodality cardiac imaging which includes echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography (including structural TOE), cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. During his time at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, he underwent additional training in the management of adult congenital heart disease (including cardiac imaging of these patients) and management of cardiac diseases in pregnancy, working closely with the Adult Congenital Heart Disease and high-risk pregnancy cardiac services.

In addition, Dr. Sethwala also underwent a sub-fellowship in implantation and management of cardiac devices at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr. Sethwala has numerous publications in leading Australian and international journals on a broad range of cardiac disorders. He has a passion to bridge the gap in health care across regional and remote areas.

Dr. Sethwala has a keen interest in primary prevention of atherosclerotic diseases and in advanced cardiac imaging modalities to optimize the detection and management of a wide range of cardiac diseases.

Dr. Sethwala consults via St John of God Warrnambool consulting suites (Warrnambool Physicians Group) where he offers cardiology consultations, echocardiography, stress echocardiography, pacemaker and cardiac device follow-up and Holter/Heartbug monitoring services.
