Dr Allison Morton moved to Bunbury in 2015 as the first fulltime resident cardiologist in the South West. Since then, she has been instrumental in expanding the local cardiovascular services available.

A senior and experienced cardiologist with a passion to improve health outcomes for regional patients and women with heart disease, she is committed to helping you navigate the treatment options available for your condition, designing an individualised evidence-based management plan for you during your appointment.

She has a special clinical interest in managing patients with coronary artery disease, percutaneous coronary intervention, inherited cardiac conditions and heart disease during pregnancy.

She completed her Cardiology training undergoing sub-specialist training in Interventional Cardiology and worked for 10 years as a consultant cardiologist in Sheffield UK, prior to emigrating to Bunbury. During her career, Allison has published multiple peer reviewed publications and presented her work at National and International conferences.

She is currently Head of Department for Cardiology at St John of God Bunbury Hospital.
