Dr James is a Pain Medicine Physician who graduated medicine with honours, from the University of Western Australia. Nathan has worked at a number of public and private hospitals in Perth, and in the United Kingdom.

Nathan is dual trained specialist, who’s interest in the specialty of pain medicine came through his training and work as an anaesthetist on acute pain services, and high-risk clinics.

Nathan has a particular interest in:

• Interventional pain procedures
• Interventions for cancer pain management.
• Complex acute and chronic pain
• Pain limiting activity in the older population

As a former physiotherapist Nathan has a significant understanding of the value of the multi-disciplinary team approach, which is embraced at PainScience.
