Dr Gareth Gregory is a consultant haematologist who treats patients at St John of God Berwick Hospital.
Dr Gregory was awarded fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia after completing haematology training at Monash Health, the Alfred Hospital and the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
Dr Gregory is passionate about improving outcomes for patients with blood disorders through translational research and has many publications in high impact medical journals for both his clinical and preclinical contributions. He was awarded the prestigious Albert Baikie Memorial Medal by the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand for his PhD studies investigating novel therapies for the treatment of lymphoma at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the University of Melbourne.
Dr Gregory is an alumnus of the European Hematology Association Clinical Research Training in Hematology program and is actively involved in translational and clinical research within the Monash Health Translation Precinct where he leads numerous national and international lymphoma clinical trials.
