Sam commenced private practice as Warrnambool GI Surgery, consulting from South West Surgical Banyan Street Warrnambool in April 2019. Sam has pursued his interest in Upper GI surgery at Barwon Health, Geelong, as an upper GI Fellow between 2013 and 2017.
His field and scope of practice included general surgery, upper GI and hepatobiliary work. Sam was also an upper GI surgical fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where his field and scope of practice included upper GI, hepatobiliary and thoracic - oesophageal and gastric cancer surgery (open and minimally invasive), hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery and thoracoscopic surgery.
