Dr Kristen Cornell is obstetrician gynaecologist who treats patients at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital.

Dr Cornell grew up in a remote town north of Mildura, moving to Melbourne and graduating with a Bachelor of Science, and then a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2007. She quickly moved into specialist training as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, completing her Masters of Reproductive Medicine in her two final years of training.

Dr Cornell has received a variety of both metropolitan and regional training, having spent time at The Northern Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women, the Royal Women’s Hospital, and completing two years of her training in Warrnambool at South West Health Care and St John of God Hospital.

During her final years of training, she spent time at the RWH Reproductive Services unit, and has worked extensively to further develop her clinical fertility management skills. These include ultrasound assessment of endometriosis, and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
