Dr Emma Clifton is an obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist based in Bendigo, Victoria. 

She is passionate about providing the highest standard of care for her patients from initial gynaecological consultation, all the way to fertility treatment, pregnancy and beyond.

She has a calm, relaxed and approachable nature and aims to individualise your care. She is open-minded and well known for her excellent rapport with patients. She is honest, compassionate and friendly. 

She is an advocate for the health and wellbeing of her patients. She believes that everyone has the right to decide if and when they have children and to access high quality health care and support, regardless of their sexuality, ethnicity or gender identity. She is a supporter of the LGBTQI+ community and welcomes all patients to her practice.

She grew up in Bendigo and has always been committed to returning to a regional area to provide a high quality, evidence-based service.

She completed her medical degree at Flinders University, Adelaide and returned to Victoria to undertake specialty Obstetrics and Gynaecology training. She has worked at Mercy Hospital for Women and Northern Health in Melbourne, as well as North East Health Wangaratta and Ballarat Health Services, before completing her specialist training in Bendigo. She has completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine (MRMed) with UNSW. 

Having spent many of her formative years in Bendigo, she understands first-hand the importance of access to a broad range of high-quality health services in the region. She is committed to continuing the legacy of these services in Bendigo. 

She also works at Bendigo Health, where she is involved in the training of medical students, junior doctors and future Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
