Ms Janine Arnold graduated from University of NSW, Kensington in 2003 and undertook her primary surgical training in New South Wales with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.

In 2012, Ms Arnold moved to Bendigo when she was appointed as the General Surgery Fellow at Bendigo Health.

Ms Arnold decided to establish her career in Bendigo, with public appointments at Bendigo Health and Rochester and Elmore District Hospital.

Ms Arnold has a special interest in bariatric surgery having recently completed a fellowship with Mr Adam Skidmore and Mr Darrin Goodall-Wilson with Lap Surgery Australia.
