Mr Lim is a colorectal surgeon specialising in laparoscopic colorectal surgery for colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease and rectal prolapse.

Mr Lim has a special interests in: - Laparoscopic colorectal surgery for cancer - Diverticular disease and IBD - Sacral neuromodulation for faecal incontinence - Fistula surgery - Perineal reconstruction - Haemorrhoidectomy - Sphincter reconstruction - Anorectal manometry and 3-D endo anal ultrasonography - Colonoscopy

Mr Lim graduated with Honours from Monash University and was awarded the Nairn Medal in Pathology. He subsequently completed general surgical training at Southern Health and developed a keen interest in colorectal surgery, working closely with Professor Bruce Waxman. He undertook a further two years of training with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) in high-volume colorectal units at Westmead Hospital (NSW) and Box Hill Hospital (VIC). He also has a public appointment at Monash Health.
