200 new jobs available at the new St John of God Berwick Hospital
Thanks to our donors, St John of God Berwick Hospital is not only able to provide close access to cancer and cardiac services to the Casey Cardinia community, but also helped to create over 200 new jobs for the region.

The cancer care centre has now opened, with the cardiac care unit due to open with the new St John of God Berwick Hospital in 2018.
The cancer care centre has and will continue to deliver:
- purpose built oncology centre with a 20 chair chemotherapy unit
- cancer services available at one site
- consulting suites for specialist oncologists and haematologists
- radiotherapy, medical imaging and pharmacy available on site.
St John of God Foundation Chief Executive Officer Nick Harvey thanked the generous donors for supporting this project.
"These new services are not only crucial in improving health outcomes, they will also increase capacity, technology and facilities, attracting new resident medical specialists and creating over 200 local jobs for nursing, allied health and support staff," he said.
