Our visiting hours are 3.00pm to 8.00pm.

Redevelopment update — temporary changes to main entrance

We are pleased to inform you that the second phase of our main entry refurbishment has begun, leading to temporary changes in access from our main entrance (Salvado Road).

A construction zone is now in place between Pomegranate Café and the South Wing lifts. As a result, the area marked in red on the map is temporarily closed. 

How to access the South Wing lifts from our main entry

  • Enter via the temporary main entry.
  • From main reception, walk past the North Wing lifts and around Pomegranate Courtyard to reach the South Wing lifts. There is signage in place to guide you along the way.

Thank you for your understanding as we upgrade our facilities. We'd like to reassure you that when you enter the hospital there will be plenty of wayfinding support to help you get to where you need to be.

Access

The hospital’s main entrance is located off Salvado Road. The medical clinic access is located off McCourt Street. Find out more about getting here and parking.

Alternative entrances include:

  • McCourt Street entrance: Recommended for visitors being picked up or dropped off and those accessing the medical clinic.
  • Bendat Family Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
  • Pedestrian hospital entrance: Ideal for those arriving from Subiaco train station. It should also be used by maternity patients in labour or patients entering the hospital after-hours.  

Free WiFi

Staying in touch with loved ones isn’t limited to visiting hours with our free hospital WiFi.

To access the hospital WiFi:

  • connect to the “Guest” wireless network
  • enter your details and accept terms and conditions
  • click the “Hotspot Login” button.

Smoke free

Your health and well-being is our priority. Our buildings and grounds are smoke free to create a healthier, cleaner and safer environment for patients, visitors and caregivers. Smoking is not permitted in any building, outdoor area or vehicle within our boundaries.

Accommodation near St John of God Subiaco Hospital

Patients travelling from regional Western Australia may be eligible for the WA Health Department’s Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS). The scheme provides financial assistance for country residents to access medical specialists who aren’t available in their local area. For more information visit the PATS website.
