More than 850 highly qualified medical specialists are accredited to practice at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

Accreditation

Accreditation as a specialist practitioner is available to specialists who are certified by the relevant clinical college, hold full WA Medical Board registration and are recognised as a specialist for the payment of medical benefits by the Health Insurance Commission.

To admit patients and/or operate at St John of God Subiaco Hospital, all specialists must be accredited to hold clinical privileges at the hospital.

Obstetric Portal

The obstetric portal allows obstetricians accredited at St John of God Subiaco Hospital to access information about inductions and caesareans.

Xcelera External Access Link

Xcelera can be used by cardiologists, vascular and cardio thoracic specialists accredited at St John of God Subiaco Hospital to access patients’ angiography films taken in our Cardiovascular Intervention Laboratory.

To make access to the Xcelera system easy, we have set up passwords for relevant doctors and placed links on all desktop computers in Main Theatre, Wards 41 and 71, CCU and ICU.
