Cafe and retail team leader Paul Faraguna wins Living Values Award

Just like the theme song from the sitcom Cheers, ‘where everyone knows your name’, café and retail team leader Paul Faraguna has been recognised as this month’s Caregiver Living Values Award winner, for always greeting people by name and knowing just how they like their order.

Paul was nominated by Tania Price, for the way he expresses the value of Hospitality.

“One of the things I appreciate about Paul is that he takes the time to get to know caregivers, and you will often see him greeting people by name and automatically getting their coffee ready just how they like it.

“He makes everyone feel welcome and I feel he always aims to make a positive difference to peoples’ day.

“I appreciate the way Paul demonstrates the St John of God Health Care values,” says Tania.

Ms Chris Hanna, Chief Executive Officer joined others in the café and retail team in congratulating Paul.

“I, along with many others, really appreciate it when Paul virtually has your order ready before you get to the counter,” says Chris.

“This attention to detail has a way of making people feel a part of the St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital team.”

Our Caregiver Living Values Award recognises caregivers who go above and beyond and demonstrate our values of hospitality, compassion, justice, respect and excellence.
