Congratulations to Registered Nurse Rachel Kay who is our Living Values Award Winner for June 2019.
Rachel was nominated by a fellow caregiver who said:
“Rachel is a nurse who shows respect for both caregivers and patients.
A way in which she does show respect for patients is by treating them all as individuals, thinking about them for all their unique capabilities. She always carries out procedures and necessary tasks but isn't afraid to go the extra mile to give amazing care.
She's always respectful to co-workers - knows everybody’s names and always offers to help understanding work load are not always even.”
Well done to Rachel for all her amazing work in the Specialist Rehabilitation Service, we are lucky to have her on the Mt Lawley team.
Remember, anyone can nominate a caregiver for a Living Values Award via the feedback boxes in the hospital or online here:sjog.org.au/mtlawleylivingvalues
