Community and social outreach

Our hospital values its place in the Geelong community and we are committed to making a tangible and meaningful difference locally.

We actively support a number of community programs and charities.

Christ Church breakfast program

We donate to this very worthy program, which provides a free breakfast every day, and a free evening meal each Wednesday and Friday night, to those who need it most.

Empty Cupboard program

We provide a supply of dry goods and non perishable items to be distributed amongst community groups assisting those in need.

Horizon House

Our Horizon House services provide early intervention and prevention services and offer accommodation, stability and support for young people at risk of homelessness, aged 16 to 22 years old, to help set and achieve their goals and independence.

River’s Gift

We support River’s Gift, which provides non-government funding for SIDS research in Australia.

Geelong Cats Just Think

We sponsor the Geelong Cats Just Think campaign.

This program aims to educate the community about responsible drinking.
