Annette Guthrie Study Bursary announced for 2020

Congratulations to Jade Walters, Patient Care Assistant from the St Francis ward, on winning the 2020 Annette Guthrie Study Bursary.

The grant will assist Jade to complete her Certificate 3 in Health Service Assistance course at South Metropolitan TAFE.

St John of God Murdoch Hospital, through the support of the Beasley Family, offer an annual study bursary for the encouragement and promotion of professional development for PCA’s and those who would like to become a PCA through qualification.

This study bursary was established to recall the passion shown by Ms Annette Guthrie for the role of Patient Care Assistants at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
