Antenatal information
Pregnancy, particularly in the lead up to giving birth, is generally a time of great excitement for women and their families.
Currently maternity tours and parent education classes have been cancelled to minimise visitors and large gatherings at our hospitals to help keep our patients safe.
However we have a range of resources exclusively for our maternity patients to help support your pregnancy journey and beyond.
Antenatal booklet
Download our Preparing for childbirth and parenting workbook for information on signs of labour, pain relief, breastfeeding and more.
Other maternity resources
Our maternity information resources are intended to help you and your partner prepare for the birth of your baby, its ongoing care and the transition to parenthood:
Singing with your baby
Singing with your child can have huge developmental advantages and support mental health for both you and your baby.
The St John of God Health Care 'Singing with your baby' songbook contains a wide variety of songs in a number of different languages with pronunciation guides included.
