Cafe Venegas

Cafe Venegas located in the hospital foyer offers a range of homemade and specially prepared light meals, muffins, snacks and refreshments. The cafe is open from 8.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday. A vending machine is available outside these times.

WiFi

Staying in touch with loved ones isn’t limited to visiting hours with our hospital WiFi. Both patients and visitors can enjoy free internet access.

To access the hospital WiFi:

connect to the “Guest” wireless network
enter your details and accept terms and conditions
click the “Hotspot Login” button.

Hairdresser

A private hairdresser will attend the hospital at the request and expense of individual patients. To book, contact the ward clerk:

Chapel

The hospital's Chapel is located in the main foyer, providing a tranquil retreat for reflection, prayer or just a few quiet moments.

Lounge facilities

The hospital patient lounge areas have adjacent balconies, comfortable seating, television, tea/coffee-making facilities. A central courtyard can be accessed via hospital foyer. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas.

Mail

Mail, facsimiles and e-mail messages are delivered daily. If you have outgoing mail give to caregivers or leave at reception, (posted daily) and stamps are available for purchase.

Meals

We pride ourselves on delivering healthy, delicious meals, prepared fresh daily. A consultant dietitian is available to assist you in making healthy eating selections. Patients with specific dietary needs can discuss these with our chef. For assistance, please ask a caregiver.

Newspapers

A newspaper is delivered to your room each morning. Magazines can be purchased at Cafe Venegas.
