GPs are invited to learn about "Adult ADHD: Issues in Screening, Diagnosis, Management". 

This presentation will give an overview of Adult ADHD and comorbidities. The use of stimulant medications and management of the condition, including screening techniques will be discussed.

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Ability to screen for and the mechanism for diagnosis of AD/HD
  • Describe the comorbidities with which AD/HD is frequently associated
  • Describe the mechanism of operation of stimulant therapy
  • Assess the risks of stimulant therapy, and describe non-stimulant options.
