Born and bred Geelong, and previously a resident at the University Hospital Geelong, Trent is consulting and operating at Geelong Ophthalmology after completing registrar training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in 2013.
He has undertaken a fellowship in cataract and general ophthalmic surgery in Geelong, along with paediatric ophthalmology at the Royal Children’s Hospital. From 2014 he will be consulting both from Geelong and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
