Dr Melanie Pillay is a general paediatrician who has been consulting at St John of God Berwick Hospital since 2015. She has vast experience across the full spectrum of general paediatrics ranging from neonatal medicine to adolescent health and wellbeing. Her special interests include allergy and psychosocial and developmental paediatrics.

Dr Pillay obtained her primary medical degree from the University of Natal, South Africa followed by a diploma in Child Health (DCH) and Fellowship of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa (FC [Paed] SA) in 2003. In 2013 she was awarded fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
