Testing and screening
If you are a patient or client being cared for by our hospitals or services you will need to follow current testing requirements. Visitors to our sites also need to get screened and may need to get tested.
Patients
If you have an upcoming hospital admission your doctor or health care professional will let you know about any testing requirements ahead of your appointment.

Visitors
Visitors may be asked to provide a negative rapid antigen test (RAT) result if visiting a high risk area, e.g. transplant ward, haematology unit, oncology ward, renal dialysis unit). Your RAT should be undertaken prior to each visit.
Community and disability services
Clients, residents and visitors may be required to undergo rapid antigen testing, upon arrival at one of our sites or services.
Healthcare at Home
Patients who are cared for in their home by St John of God Healthcare at Home will need to be screened before our caregivers enter your home. We may require proof of a negative rapid antigen test.
