Our support helps you feel safe, confident and in control as you recover after surgery or when receiving ongoing care.

We partner with you and your family to support you to meet your goals and expectations, and respond quickly to your changing needs.

Our experienced nurses support your health at home so that you can:

• Return home to be with your family, partner or pets
• Get back to your home comforts and sleep in your own bed 
• Get expert assistance in your recovery, particularly if you don’t have someone to support you at home

Accessing support at home

Accessing St John of God Healthcare at Home services is easy.

Most of our services are covered by your private health insurance. Speak to your health fund regarding your level of cover. 

We can help you understand any out-of-pocket costs you may have for our services.

As a patient under our care, you have rights and responsibilities which are consistent with the Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights and are important when partnering with us in your care.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct, supports our Mission, Vision and Values of St John of God Health Care and defines the standards of behaviour, which are expected from all who are employed or are associated with our organisation. This includes all caregivers (employees), agency staff, volunteers, contractors, vendors and anyone else who conducts business for, or on behalf of, St John of God Health Care.
