To mark the occasion and to honour one of St John of God Health Care's long standing traditions, a beautiful ornamental pomegranate tree was planted at the main entrance of the facility. Prior to the planting, CEO, Strephon Billinghurst warmly welcomed caregivers sheltering from the rain, while Lisa Connell, Director of Mission provided a heart-felt blessing and prayer for the new sapling and caregivers alike.

"This tree planting ceremony is a tradition that has been undertaken at all of SJGHC's facilities, and it is a lovely way to celebrate the new life and future of HDHS. I look forward to watching both this tree and HDHS grow and flourish together," said Strephron.
