The birth of your baby is a joyous occasion and as one of Australia’s leading private hospitals, we have a long standing reputation for holistic care, complemented by advanced medical technology. We aim to provide care designed to meet your individual needs and prepare you with skills and knowledge to care for your new baby at home.

Our long established Maternity Unit has an excellent reputation and is supported by some of Western Australia’s leading obstetricians. With more than 3,500 babies born every year at our Hospital, we cater for a range of birthing needs and are continually responding to changes in maternity care to ensure our patients receive first class care in relaxed and friendly surroundings.

We are committed to ensuring that the birth of your child is a truly memorable experience.

Our Delivery Suite provides a safe and supportive birthing environment and includes a family birthing suite and dedicated obstetric operating theatre.

Our Maternity Unit is staffed with experienced midwives and nurses who will be able to assist you in learning to care for your baby. Some of our midwives are also specialist lactation consultants and are able to provide additional expertise with breast feeding.

As a teaching hospital, we employ student midwives as part of our maternity team. These students are registered nurses completing further education and will work with your midwife in caring for you. Similarly, medical students in midwifery undertake a component of their obstetric training at our hospital and may accompany your doctor when visiting you.
