GP Education Putting Patients First

As part of St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s Research Week we invite General Practitioners to a special educational evening endorsed by RACGP.

With the growth and ageing of Australia’s population, end of life care is an increasingly important, yet controversial topic.  The role of the General Practitioner is integral to accessing the most appropriate care at the right time, to ensure high quality patient outcomes.

Dr Cassandra Host, GP Advisor at St John of God Subiaco has brought together specialist Dr Derek Eng and Nurse Practitioner Louise Angus, to discuss and inform GPs of the latest in the area of end of life care and voluntary assisted dying legislation.
