Volunteering at St John of God Richmond Hospital
We have long benefited from the countless hours of dedication provided by volunteers in our hospital.
We recognise and appreciate their significant contribution which is an integral part of the distinctive care we provide our patients.
If you have a few hours a week or a day here or there to spare, consider volunteering your time, skills and positive energy to help people at St John of God Richmond Hospital.
Volunteering at St John of God Richmond Hospital
We have a variety of volunteer roles either behind-the-scenes or directly working with our caregivers to coordinate patient activities. We always try to match the skills, interests and abilities of the volunteer with the roles we have available at the hospital.
Examples of volunteer roles at our hospital include:
- bus driving
- organising movie afternoons for patients
- administration activities
Volunteers receive orientation and training and we provide opportunities for personal development and hold social activities to thank you for the hard work that you do.
