Welcome Dr Sayanta Jana - our new Director of Medical Services
This week we welcomed Dr Sayanta Jana, our new Director of Medical Services for St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals.

Dr Jana brings a wealth of senior level management experience to the role, having worked in key senior executive positions within the WA public health sector.
Dr Jana's top five things he is looking forward to in his new role:
- Engaging with the local community.
- Getting to know caregivers and visiting medical officers working at the hospital.
- Making a positive difference to health outcomes in the region.
- Enhancing clinical processes and systems.
- Growing the junior medical officer workforce and medical research.
Dr Jana is a father of one, lives in the local catchment area and is an avid cricket fan. He has worked as a doctor for more than 17 years and places great focus on improving the lives of patients and training the next generation of doctors and medical leaders.
