Working with us

Volunteers

Our volunteer caregivers play an integral role at our hospital.

Volunteers in corridor

From greeting patients and visitors to serving on the wards and in the Emergency Department, our volunteers work in a variety of roles to make a difference in the lives of members of our community who come to hospital.

Why volunteer?

We value the skill and experience of each volunteer.

Being a part of the volunteer team provides you with the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of people who may be at hospital for surgery or procedure or to visit a loved one.

You will also meet and work with other fantastic caregivers. We regularly gather as a volunteer team for various development and social activities.

Becoming a volunteer

We call for applications to fill specific volunteer positions. You must over 18 years of age to apply. Through the volunteer recruitment process, we will aim to match your skills, interests and abilities to the requirements of the roles.

You are required to participate in orientation and training programs at the hospital to ensure you can perform your role safely and in accordance with our Values.
