Nursing hospitality earns Edmund key hospital award

St John of God Geraldton Hospital Chief Executive Officer Scott Daczko said Edmund was a worthy award winner and extended hospitality to all those he encountered throughout the hospital.

“Our ability to feel and show empathy towards each other to demonstrate hospitality and connectedness is critical for us to continue to grow as individuals and as a community,” Scott said.

“Edmund demonstrates this in everything he does, from going above and beyond in helping colleagues to caring for patients and their family members and in particular in the way he explains treatment.”

Nominated by several of his peers, Edmund was singled out for his professionalism, attitude and dependability.

Edmund was presented the award on 8 March 2019.
