Outpatients

After an inpatient stay you may need to attend our hospital for regular therapy sessions, called outpatient programs.

You may also attend these programs if your condition does not require an inpatient stay.

Our outpatient programs allow you to access the care you need and recover in the comfort of your own home.

You can access these services via a referral from your treating doctor or general practitioner. Generally, your private health insurance will cover the cost of these programs (hospital cover only – no extras required) or you may be entitled to access these programs without charge through the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Transport Accident Commission, or choose to self-fund.

Your caregivers will advise you of any special instructions you need to follow before or after your appointment.

Our outpatient services include:

  • Cardiac
  • Chronic Pain Management
  • Dietary advice
  • Falls and Balance
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Oncology
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Physiotherapy
  • Psychology
